However, Page Six confirmed Charlie was at the home of fellow crypto investor John Woeltz when John was arrested by the NYPD in May 2025. John Woeltz is accused of kidnapping a different crypto investor from Italy, Michael Valentino Teofrasto Carturan, and holding him at John’s “crypto crash pad,” where many investors, like Charlie, would allegedly spend time, according to Page Six.
