If you’ve gone down your timeline recently and noticed that pretty much everyone is getting engaged and married, you’re not alone. I don’t know if we went through some sort of weird time jump or that it seems like we don’t have much longer on an actually-habitable planet, but it seems like everyone tied the knot this year. And not just that really quirky girl from your high school who was a total betch but ended up becoming a nurse — I mean, even people totally unrelated to your life at all, AKA celebrities.
There were a bunch of notable celebrity weddings this year and even though we’re all very much in a “eat the rich” kind of mindset these days, I have to admit I’m still a sucker for a gorgeous (albeit, very expensive) wedding. I always said that if I had the money, my wedding would be top-tier (you know, if I ever find a man to date first) because we all know that money can’t buy taste. So when I see an obscenely rich person actually use their money in style, it almost takes the blow out of not being able to really afford therapy.
Here are some of the best celebrity weddings of 2024.
Lana Condor and Anthony De La Torre
Our fave romcom girlie just made it official with Anthony De La Torre, who she’s been dating since 2015 after they met at an Emmy’s party. Years later, they’re still inseparable. They got hitched in Malibu in a totally chic fall-wedding vibe.
Ben Platt and Noah Galvin
From doing improv together to walking down the aisle together, Ben Platt’s and Noah Galvin’s love story is basically any actor’s dream. They were engaged for two years before they decided to get married in Brooklyn wearing coordinating not matching outfits (this detail was super important to them).
Saoirse Ronan and Jack Lowden
I love a secret wedding — and apparently so do actors Saoirse Ronan and Jack Lowden. They tied the knot in Edinburg this past summer with a very small ceremony with just close friends, who were all sworn to secrecy about the event. I mean, when everything about your life is always publicized, it makes sense to want some privacy on one of the biggest days of your life.
John Mulaney and Olivia Munn
Olivia Munn has had a rough year. She recently opened up about her journey battling breast cancer and how it’s affected her her life. A few months after that, her and John Mulaney got married in a super small, intimate wedding at one of their friends’ homes. They’ve been together for a long ass time and even have two beautiful kids together so I think we’re all a little extra happy about this one.
Gavin Casalegno and Cheyanne King
The Summer I Turned Pretty star married longtime girlfriend Cheyanne King, a total normie who went BYU for nursing, in November of this year. “FOREVER CAPTIVATED BY YOU🕊️,” the actor wrote in his Instagram caption.
Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi

Our little Stranger Things star is all grown up. She married Jake Bongiovi in Tuscany wearing one of the most stunning wedding dresses I’ve ever seen. Her costar Matthew Modine (AKA Dr. Brenner) officiated the wedding and did so around an arch of white florals. It was truly something out of a movie.
Lana Del Ray and Jeremy Dufrene
Just a month after Lana Del Ray debuted her romance with alligator tour guide (you read that right) Jeremy Dufrene, she got married to him in a bayou in Louisiana — the same one he works at. It was a very lowkey wedding where you can literally see swamp boats in the back.
Zack Fox and Kat Matutina

Zack Fox is so confident in his DJing abilities that he, himself was the only person he could trust to DJ his wedding — and it looked like a great time. The Abbott Elementary star tied the knot to his longterm girlfriend Kat Matutina wearing a burnt orange tux. Their wedding looked intimate and they had a blast — Zack even ended up throwing it back on Kat, which made it to his Instagram post.
Abbi Jacobson and Jodi Balfour
Comedian and actress Abbi Jacobson got married to Jodi Balfour this summer and their wedding was as whimsical as it was meaningful. They wanted their florals to be architecture rather than arrangements, incorporated important food from their relationship (like strawberries and tomatoes), and had a surprise party afterwards with no windows and an “insane sound system.”
Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant
When you’re a billionaire who had Beyoncé perform at your sister’s wedding, you have to step it up for your own. Anant Ambani, who married Radhika Merchant, had so many extravagant, star-studded wedding events this summer that we still don’t know what was the wedding and what was just a pre-wedding party. But just to give you an idea of the scale of this wedding: Justin Bieber performed, Bill Gates was in attendance, and Anant gifted all of his closest friends a $200,000 watch.
Rebel Wilson and Ramona Agruma
Rebel Wilson got married to Ramona Agruma in Italy, while both were wearing timeless, classic white dresses. They planned their wedding within three months of being engaged, which you’d never guess considering how beautiful and romantic the white-detailed wedding looked.
Usher and Jenn Goicoechea
In case you missed this one, Usher also got married this year. Pretty soon after performing at the literal Super Bowl, Usher went to a drive-thru wedding tunnel in Vegas and got married to Jenn Goicoechea. They got married in front of their family and friends and drove off in a vintage convertible car covered in flowers.
