Account Executive

Betches Media is looking for a Sales Account Executive to handle strategic brand partnership opportunities across all owned digital, social & audio channels. We are seeking a highly strategic & consultative seller who can drive revenue and grow renewal business.

This AE must have excellent client relationship skills, bringing developed relationships with them. The candidate must possess strong quantitative & analytical skills and the ability to develop and connect with relevant cross medium creative partnership concepts in the digital, social, & audio media space. We are looking for an autonomous, self starter that can hit the ground running!

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Leverage existing client relationships to open doors for partnership discussions
  • Prospect, build and scale new and renewal revenue for key strategic accounts focusing on driving multi-platform, multi-year programs across social, audio, web & newsletters
  • The ability to track and manage to hit sales targets
  • Stay ahead of the curve on marketplace & platform trends relating to their clients’ industries to maximize share and scale
  • Define the overall approach for specific accounts and/or industries, develop work plans, and create compelling sales propositions utilizing internal and external data
  • Deliver best in class customer service to brand partners

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in digital sales with ability to translate client KPIs into actionable campaign strategies and close revenue
  • Familiarity and strong enthusiasm for entire Betches Media brand and sub brands, products and the utility we offer to our audience
  • Willingness to thrive in a startup environment, highly motivated and possesses an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Extensive contacts in digital & social media buying and planning (client and agency side), brands direct and PR companies who handle media budgets
  • Experience with key industry categories like CPG (food, beverage and beauty), retail, travel, finance, pharma and tech
  • A sales leader who has the ability to independently build a large pipeline of outbound leads, pursue and close
  • Experience closing/managing large, customized content deals ($500K+)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment to oversee multiple projects and tight deadlines
  • Fluency in the language of digital media: impressions, CTR, CPMs, eCPMs, etc.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively navigate through ambiguity and complexities related to client/agency structure
  • Must possess strong organizational and analytical skills (strong grasp of Microsoft Excel & Powerpoint/Keynote required)

Compensation:

The expected annual base salary for this role is $95,000 – $125,000, total OTE 180,000 – 220,000. Final offers for this role will be made within the parameters of the salary range provided. Freelance Content Manager, Lifestyle

Description:

Betches Media is looking for a hilarious and creative social media expert to manage all day-to-day operations of the When’s Happy Hour Instagram account, making our audience laugh so they don’t cry about their 9 to 5.  The ideal candidate will be a loyal follower of the When’s Happy Hour Instagram account, have a true passion for career content (or at least office gossip) as well as the Betches brand, and be able to grow, engage, and connect with its audience. The content manager must possess excellent writing and editing skills, strong organizational and communication skills, a passion for social media, and, above all, a sense of humor.  

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day content and operations of the When’s Happy Hour Instagram account for 10-12 hours a week 
  • Utilize social media tools (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Threads) to create funny and relatable original content
  • Oversee community management and foster a highly engaged audience by consistently delivering high-quality and unique content 
  • Conceptualize and execute entertaining, innovative, repeatable social franchises for the Instagram Feed and Stories 
  • Identify emerging trends on Instagram & TikTok and apply to the When’s Happy Hour vertical where there are opportunities for engagement
  • Ideate and support marketing team efforts to promote relevant Betches initiatives (Podcast, Events, Merch, etc.)
  • Collaborate with the brand partnerships team to ideate and deliver on-brand, engaging branded content for our business partners

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of social media design, storytelling and strategy experience
  • A demonstrated ability to produce engaging video and static content for social media

Freelance Integrated Marketing Manager

Betches is looking for an Integrated Marketing Manager to assist in the pre-sale sales process through creative ideation and strategic plans for paid branded content opportunities across all digital, social/audio channels, marketing initiatives and experiential activations. The ideal candidate will be a highly creative, funny and self-motivated individual who possesses a strong ability to assist the build of creative brand partnership packages in the digital media space, while also excelling at building decks that tell a strong and cohesive story. This candidate must have a strong instinct on how to position and market Betches Media through impactful and creative paid media campaigns.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Work alongside Sales & Brand Partnership team to create and deliver winning proposals rooted in social, digital, podcast, and experiential activations that are both engaging for fans and are impactful for brand clients (and their KPIs)
  • Conceptualize from start to finish, thorough and creative paid brand partnership opportunities for a variety of interested and potential brand sponsors 
  • Be able to effectively manage a high volume of inbound and proactive RFPs
  • Package high quality and engaging proposals and presentations that deliver 360, integrated multi-platform activations
  • Effectively design and story-tell campaign ideas through visual and custom content presentations 
  • Collaborate with sales team to answer/create RFPs and co-pitch in meetings to effectively deliver Betches Media best-in-class sponsorship opportunities 
  • Partner with content & brand partnerships team to develop go-to-market brand strategies, while helping to forecast the revenue & brand growth potential 
  • Partner with content team to develop new ideas for custom content programs or series, as well as package existing organic content, to bring in new partners and drive repeat business 
  • Have a strong ability to write and create Betches Media brand voice positioning for partnership packages 
  • Have a strong ability to assist with pricing out and packaging opportunities based on research for all opportunities presented to brands for consideration
  • Have a strong ability to showcase Betches Media potential to outside audience, talent & clients 
  • Consistently innovate creative marketing approaches to drive Betches Media across all digital and event initiatives 

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years experience working in the pre-sale process, creating paid social, digital sales & event marketing activations

Video Producer

Description

Do you want to put your vast knowledge of random pop culture and online trends to use? Do you wish your endless TikTok scrolling counted as “research”? Do you seek external validation from strangers by putting yourself on the internet? Would you rather edit a video than write a cover letter? Then you may be perfect for this role at Betches. 

Betches Media is looking for a hilarious and highly skilled video producer to join the team and create some of the funniest videos on the internet. In this role, you will work directly with our content team and other team members to brainstorm, film, and edit social video across platforms, while staying attuned to trending topics, content, sounds, and more. The ideal candidate understands the Betches voice, but also comes with a unique perspective and sense of humor that helps us stand out even further. You should also genuinely enjoy diving into your FYP, finding new inspiration and ways to approach content. 

The ideal candidate is proficient in production, shooting and editing digital video content across all platforms, specifically Instagram and TikTok. You should be passionate about video production, comedy, and know and love the Betches brand and voice. This role will report to the Senior Video Director and work closely with our larger content team.  

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Produce, shoot, edit and star in a variety of Betches Media videos (sketches, reels, videos, etc.)
  • Ideate, script, and execute ad hoc and series ideas for Betches and Betches verticals
  • Assist in all aspects of the production process, including pitching, scripting, shooting, appearing in, and editing videos and video series
  • Collaborate with video and content team to produce high quality video content

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years experience in producing, shooting & editing videos for social
  • Must be comfortable appearing/acting in videos as needed
  • Strong interest and background in comedy required
  • Ability to shoot and edit narrative sketches
  • Strong ability to produce and film quick social videos 
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere (knowledge of After Effects and other Adobe apps huge plus)
  • Understanding of basic lighting techniques and DSLR cameras
  • Fluent in the culture of social media
  • Past media experience a plus
  • Ability to travel locally, if needed 
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred, but not required
