If a Disney prince grew up to be a man, specifically a man who took a few human sexuality courses and then built a business with his bare hands, it would be Aidan from Sex and the City Captain Jason Chambers from Below Deck: Down Under. If you were waiting for a personal invitation to dip your toe into the Below Deck universe, consider Captain Jason’s green eyes and jawline that could crack a coconut with a mere glance your sign from the universe to tune TF in. The Australian BD spinoff has been promoting the new third season full of incestuous boatmances, minor shipwrecks and Captain Jay serving chest so (after I picked my own jaw up off the floor) I marked my calendar for February 3. But before the season even starts I need to know, for legal reasons: is Captain Jason single?

Captain Jason confirmed the (good, if you ask me) news that he’s single as pringle as of the fall of 2024. His exact words to the Australian Daily Mail were that he “couldn’t be more single.” Jason is voluntarily choosing to stay that way for the foreseeable future so that he can focus on his eight-year-old daughter, Saskia. (Yes, I’m refraining from the obvious daddy joke, have a little couth).
Though a fan (who I bet was holding her phone two inches from her face) thought they saw a ring on Jason’s finger, Jason commented back that she was looking at his right hand. Jason’s relationship status came up after a Baywatch-style beach video… talk about global warming.

The “only” piece of jewelry he wears are gifts from his daughter. Wow, daddy of the year (so sorry Jay, I couldn’t hold it in).

The Australian gem is 52 years old.
Even though Aesha is sadly no longer going to be the head stew in charge on the Bravo boat, Jason Chambers will be joined by some other familiar faces on super yacht Katina. Sweet baby angel Harry (the shy king who had the biggest crush on Margot) and Chef Tzarina are returning after season 2. Cheffy is getting a (much-needed) sous-chef named Anthony in addition to the rest of the all-new crew. The new chief stew is named Lara and unlike Aesha, she seems a little less class clown and a little more white glove or else. All in all, they sound like a perfectly entertaining bunch.
