Nepo baby drama alert! Apparently, David and Victoria Beckham’s sons, Brooklyn and Romeo Beckham, are beefing. At least, that’s what sources connected to the family told TMZ on April 3. Supposedly, the bros’ rumored feud involves model and DJ Kim Turnbull, Romeo’s current GF and, um, Brooklyn’s ex. So, they’re also probably Eskimo brothers as well as normal brothers, which is… deeply uncomfortable. So, what exactly is going on here? Is Brooklyn mad at his brother for dating his ex? I wouldn’t blame him. The TMZ source provided interesting insight, and Romeo seemed to hint at the tension on social media. Let’s unpack Brooklyn and Romeo Beckham’s alleged feud over Kim Turnbull, shall we?
According to the TMZ report, Brooklyn and Romeo are currently “not on speaking terms” and appear to be avoiding attending the same events because of Romeo’s relationship with Kim. (Romeo and Kim went Instagram official in November 2024 when he shared a photo of them looking cozy in a car.) Apparently, Kim and Brooklyn dated “a few years ago,” but that’s all “water under the bridge” now. If you didn’t know, the dude’s been married to Nicola Peltz for three years, so I would certainly hope he’s not feeling jealous of Romeo!

Per the sources, it’s not actually a jealousy issue. Brooklyn is allegedly concerned that Kim doesn’t have “the right intentions” in dating his brother, and that’s why he’s so against the relationship. This is reportedly the reason why Brooklyn and Nicola recently skipped David’s 50th birthday celebration and Victoria’s fashion show last month. (Romeo and Kim attended both events.) According to the insider, Brooklyn and his wife “will not be present at any public family events that Kim is at” in the near future either.
And there’s more: Romeo seemed to hint at the beef in an April 3 Instagram post. He shared a family photo from David’s party, neglected to tag Brooklyn and Nicola, and wrote a cheeky caption: “Family is everything.” In my expert opinion, it’s giving shade.
Despite the whole not speaking and avoiding each other thing, the TMZ source claims, “There’s no ill will toward Romeo himself, Brooklyn just doesn’t approve of Kim dating him.” It sounds like the tension between the brothers started back in December, not too long after Romeo and Kim went public with their romance. David and Victoria allegedly have no issue with Kim and are “on her side” of this conflict.
Needless to say, I’ll be following this intriguing beef very closely.
