Every Celeb Who Has Publicly Supported Blake Lively Following Her Accusations Against Justin Baldoni

I can only imagine how much Blake Lively’s phone has been blowing up since she went public with her allegations against It Ends With Us director and star, Justin Baldoni. On December 21, 2024, news broke that Blake (the female lead of the Colleen Hoover movie adaptation about domestic violence) had filed a complaint with the California Civil Rights Department. The allegations include conditions of sexual harassment on set and retaliation against Blake during the movie’s international press tour meant to “bury” her, all allegedly incited by Justin Baldoni and his producing partner Jamey Heath. The legal action, which is one step short of a lawsuit, has brought the public’s attention to serious unethical working conditions as claimed by Blake, and some of her famous colleagues have already spoken out in support of the actress. Justin Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, has responded by rejecting Blake’s allegations as “false, outrageous and intentionally salacious with an intent to publicly hurt” in order to “fix [Blake Lively’s] negative reputation,” as told to People Magazine. Here are all the celebrity reactions to Blake Lively’s sexual harassment and retaliation complaint against Justin Baldoni.

Celebrities Who Have Supported Blake Lively After It Ends With Us Complaint

After Blake’s case was explored in a New York Times investigative piece, author Colleen Hoover (who wrote the book It Ends With Us) quickly jumped on social media to announce her support for the star. Colleen wrote that Blake has been “nothing but honest, kind, supportive, and patient” over a picture of the pair hugging. She ended the note by thanking Blake for being “exactly the human” she is and encouraging Blake to “never wilt,” along with a link to the NYT piece.

America Ferrera, Alexis Bledel, and Amber Tamblyn shared an Instagram post “in support of [their] sister Blake.” Blake’s former co-stars and friends “stand with her in solidarity as she fights back against the reported campaign waged to destroy her reputation.” They are “appalled to read the evidence of a premeditated and vindictive effort that ensued to discredit her voice” after filming It Ends With Us. The “unabashed exploitation of domestic violence survivors’ stories to silence a woman who asked for safety,” (which their statement suggests was done by the recipient of Blake’s complaint, Justin Baldoni) amounts to “astounding hypocrisy” according to America, Alexis, and Amber.

Robyn Lively wrote “FINALLY justice for my sister” over a collage of evidence presented in the NY Times article, tagging Blake on Instagram. Robyn, who is also an actress, shared a link to the Times on the next slide with a heart again tagging her sister, Blake.

Bart Johnson

Robyn is married to Bart Johnson (yep, Troy’s dad in High School Musical) who previously defended Blake over the summer, telling fans that “the truth [had] not come out” at the height of the press tour drama. Since the news of the complaint became public in December, Bart has continued to be vocal in support of his SIL, chiming in under The New York Times comment section several times.

His comments encouraged the public to look at the evidence, writing that “the cast unfollowed [Justin Baldoni] for a reason” and that Blake is a “girl boss” and “hero” who was “attacked by a VERY expensive PR machine.” Bart later tweeted that Justin Baldoni is a “fraud” who “puts on the ‘costume’ of a hero, man bun and all.”

Amber Heard

Amber Heard had previously dealt with the same PR crisis team Justin Baldoni hired, as they also worked for Johnny Depp during his contentious legal battle against the actress he was formerly married to. Amber exclusively shared a statement with NBC News in response to Blake’s case, expressing that “social media is the absolute personification of the classic saying ‘A lie travels halfway around the world before truth can get its boots on.’ I saw this firsthand and up close. It’s as horrifying as it is destructive.”

The actress and wellness entrepreneur shared a link on her Instagram Story to the Blake Brown Beauty (Blake Lively’s haircare company launched in 2024) website, quipping that she “just added” some products to her “Christmas wish list.”

Amy, whose jokes about Blake have previously sparked feud rumors, summarized her support with a simple statement on her Instagram story: “I believe Blake.”

Jenny Slate

Blake’s co-star in It Ends With Us, Jenny Slate, chose to “voice [her] support” for her “cast mate” and “loyal friend” against “those reported to have planned and carried out an attack on [Blake Lively’s] reputation.” Jenny’s exclusive December 23 statement to TODAY.com praised Blake for being a “leader” and “trusted source of emotional support for [Jenny] and so many who know and love her.” Jenny ended her statement by calling “the attack on Blake” a “terribly dark, disturbing, and wholly threatening” situation that she will “stand by [Blake’s] side” through, as well as admiring Blake’s bravery.

Brandon Sklenar

Brandon, who played Atlas Corrigan (Blake’s love interest in the Colleen Hoover movie), also linked the Times report on Blake’s case through his Instagram Story. Brandon advised his followers to “For the love of god read this,” tagging Blake with a heart emoji.

Paul Feig

Legendary comedic director Paul Feig expressed his support for Blake Lively by replying to the NYT’s tweet with a message commending Blake as “one of the most professional, creative, collaborative, talented and kind people I’ve ever worked with” who “truly did not deserve any of this smear campaign against her.” Paul Feig directed Blake in A Simple Favor and A Simple Favor 2.

Michele Morrone

Blake’s A Simple Favor 2 co-star, Michele Morrone, shared his support in a video posted to his Instagram Story. Michele revealed that he had spoken with Blake about the “pain” she was going through because of the situation with Justin Baldoni, as transcribed by Marie Claire. He implored his followers to read Blake’s complaint instead of continuing “those cruel and bad comments about her.” Michele signed off by telling Blake that he loves her “so much” and will see her “very, very soon.”
