Small weddings are so back (what, you haven’t heard elopements are on the rise?), but somehow destination bachelorettes are still the new norm (despite a recession, OTW, mind you). Even though I’m the first one to book a flight for a full-blown girls’ trip, the concept of a one-night rager to say goodbye to my bestie’s single days sounds pretty magical. But just because I typically like to bed rot solo (as opposed to in one big house full of bad bitches) doesn’t mean every bride shouldn’t do what TF they want for their once-in-a-lifetime (well, hopefully) celebration.
That being said, if you plan on having a big ol’ bachelorette, I’m sure a gift bag for your girlie pops is on your (and your MOH’s) to-do list. But why is it that when the wedding party is hitting add to cart for bachelorette gift bags, the most boring and/or cheap junk is chosen?
If a bachelorette weekend is on your bingo card in 2025, I’m here to deliver the memo: it’s time to up your goodie-giving game past two Advil, a half a pack of gum, and a loose band-aid. I’m talking tokens so thoughtful and cute that they won’t end up in the Airbnb trash can by Sunday night.
Before you walk down the aisle, check out my guide to bachelorette goodie bags that don’t suck.

Bachelorette Goodie Bag Gift Ideas: How To Make Them Special
1. Collect items over time, instead of ordering all at once
The worst thing you can do when cooking up a grand gesture is to execute it under shipping constraints. When you plan at least six months ahead of your big weekend, you don’t have to depend on what can get to your door in under 48 hours, and instead, you can thoughtfully source items that feel unique to you and your I Do crew. (And speaking of I Do Crews, I know I said brides should do whatever they want, but please reconsider forcing your friends to wear cheap graphic t-shirts with a cheesy cliche they will be too embarrassed to even wear to bed.)
2. Customize at least one item in the bag
If you want your ladies to feel special, make something special for them! It sounds expensive, but artisan flea markets (or virtual markets, like Etsy) make customization extremely accessible.
Oversized Airy Chiffon Scrunchie
If you’re the type to DIY and/or on a budget, getting variations of the same gift can be a super affordable alternative to paying for embroidery (like giving each guest a scrunchie in their own unique color).
Assorted Sew-On Patches
If you’re decent with sewing (like even the bare basics by hand), you can try adding personality patches to the gifts you select to make them feel extra special.
3. Make the gift bag reusable
If the bag you put your goodies in is a last-minute thought, it sets a bleh tone for the whole ~gift giving~ experience. Like, it’s not 2016, so let’s try to give the paper bags and burlap sacks a rest.
Cotton Reusable Tote Bag
Remember our little chat about easy customization? Throwing some patches on these tote bags would make any guest squeal with glee after a long flight to celebrate you.
Round Mini Shoulder Bag
Or you can level up by gifting your besties the perfect little crossbodys they can rock whether you’re hiking in Asheville or trying to survive hungover brunch.
Meoky 40 oz Tumbler
Who says it has to be a gift bag, babe? You can stuff this tumbler full of treats, and then they can drink from it all weekend!
4. Prepare for hangovers
Speaking of being hungover, hydration packs are in every one of those “survival kits” for a reason. No, they’re not going to prevent you from feeling like the living dead after all night at LIV, but they will help your body recover quicker.
LMNT Zero Sugar Electrolytes
I’m obsessed with these from LMNT because they’re sugar-free and the flavors are fire (watermelon salt is probs my favorite) for drinking alone or as a mixy for a little hair of the dog. The chocolate salt is perfect for your morning coffee, too.
Tums Travel Size
I mean, these go without saying, right?
Neutrogena Make-up Wipes
The only time I’m barbaric enough to use a wipe on my face is when I’m traveling. These to-go packs from Neutrogena are a must.
Grace & Stella Under Eye Mask
These eye patches from Grace & Stella are highly rated because they actually work, won’t break the bank, and are sustainably made.
5. Help them capture the memories
Disposable cameras
Disposable cameras are more than just nostalgic, they give you a chance to have physical memories (without the pressure of immediately putting them on Instagram, too). It’s the perfect touch for a long weekend somewhere scenic.
Fujifilm Instax Mini 12 Instant Camera
You can also grab a dedicated group Instant camera for the trip, so you can print the mems in real time and write cute captions on them (scrapbooking is for the girls!).
Metallic Sharpies
I love these Sharpies for writing descriptions on your pics, plus, if you’re really sentimental, you can write each bridesmaid a special little welcome note!
Photo Frame Stickers
Go ahead and splurge for the cutesy decorations, this is going on everyone’s fridge, after all.
6. Include Beach Day Necessities
Dock & Bay Quick Dry Towel
Yes, your hotel/Airbnb should have them, but they don’t always have enough! Plus, if you lose them at the beach, they send you to jail (or something). A packable towel is useful for trips to come.
Vacation Travel Size Sunscreen
A travel size of this luxury brand will make your bridesmaids feel bougie on this trip and their next one, too.
7. Add Tons Of Snacks
And I leave you with this: food. Not being hungry solves 99% of arguments on Bachelorettes (a statistic backed by bridesmaids everywhere). And no, brides, we do not want those granola bars (and all their crumbs) in our shared queen beds.
Tamalitoz
These teeny candies pack so much flavor, so they’re the perfect something sweet to travel with. There’s an addictive flavor in here for every one of your besties, or you can DIY variety bags.
Hippeas Chickpea Puffs
I hate to sound like a Whole Foods mom, but I’ve been pounding these healthy Cheetos knockoffs ever since I tried them.
Miss Vickie’s Kettle Cooked Potato Chips
Miss Vickie, you will always be famous.
