Once upon a time, there was a fluid, Canadian, and (devastatingly) fictional fellow named Paul Baker, who earned the coveted title of White Boy of the Month. Has anyone ever deserved it more? I think not. Once Paul Baker — portrayed by curly-haired TikTok darling Jack Innanen — appeared on our screens in FX’s brilliant comedy Adults, lives were forever changed. For example, my standards are now: Paul Baker or no one. Even Jack himself is obsessed with PB, calling the character “aspirational.” He told The Gate, “I love how absolutely just go-with-the-flow chill he is … that part I’m very envious of. He’s just along for the ride and having fun, doing whatever with the group.”
Given how magnetic he is, it’s no surprise that Paul Baker finds himself in a love triangle in the show. He’s dating Issa, but he definitely has feelings for his bestie, Anton. Issa and Anton are both PB’s roommates and he has to marry someone to stay in the country. Sooo, yeah, it’s not messy at all. Fortunately, the chronically online community shares my passion for Paul Baker — and his inevitable romance with Anton. In recent weeks, we’ve been blessed with a flurry of exquisite Paul Baker edits. So, in the spirit of public service, I’ve curated a collection of my favorites.
