May Abbey and David’s type of love attack me. That was my main thought after binging Love on the Spectrum season 3. (Thank you for this masterpiece, Netflix.) Abbey singing her love song to David is one of the greatest moments ever on any dating show, period. As an Abbey and David stan, I obviously had to do a post-season 3 check-in and get an update on their relationship… So, are these two still together and going strong? Are those engagement rumors true? Here’s everything to know about Love on the Spectrum‘s Abbey and David today.
Abbey and David are still together and very much in love. According to the season 3 “where are they now” finale montage, their love is only “growing stronger” these days. We see the couple enjoying a romantic boat ride together and also learn that Abbey believes David is her future husband. Tea!
Not yet… but maybe one day. “We already feel like we’re married from the inside,” Abbey told Today.com during a recent interview. David noted that they’re “not ready to do the real thing yet.” At the moment, they’re just enjoying their relationship as is, and they’re looking forward to celebrating their fourth anniversary soon.

David couldn’t stop gushing about his GF during the interview. “Not only do I like her personality, but she’s as sweet as all my favorite desserts, and she’s pretty and funny and smart and beautiful and lovely at the same time,” he said. K, so, where do I find a David? Because this is what I need a m*n to be saying about me.
The Love on the Spectrum couple also offered relationship advice. According to Abbey, “The secret to a good relationship is that we understand each other (and) the way our minds work. We’re kind and patient with each other and we’re our true selves.” David agreed with her and added that in a relationship, you gotta “have confidence, gather your courage and be yourself and care for others too.” Taking notes.

They don’t have plans to become parents right now, but they did discuss the subject on the show. “One day, we will live together and we shall adopt children,” David declared. But Abbey had a different idea, responding: “Unless I get pregnant with one, if I stop taking those birth [control] pills.” She then asked him how he’d support her while she was giving birth.
David pretended to guide Abbey through birth, telling her, “Stay very calm. Breathe, breathe, breathe. Hold your horses, just breathe.” Abbey joked, “I guess my mom’s gonna be a grandma!”
