Consider This Your Official Save the Date for Another Simple Favor

In partnership with Prime Video.

If you’ve been waiting for a sign to throw a Capri-themed movie night with your true crime girlies, this is it. Grab the limoncello, channel your most chaotic bridesmaid energy, and get ready – because Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively are officially back in Another Simple Favor, streaming May 1 on Prime Video.

ICYMI: In the first film (A Simple Favor), Blake’s character, Emily, ended up in jail for… well, a lot of reasons. Fast forward to now – Emily’s out on parole, living her best post-prison life, and doing what any recently released fashion icon would do: planning a destination wedding in Italy. Naturally.

Since she’s running a little low on bridesmaids (being a convicted felon does that), she ropes in her ex-bestie Stephanie (played by Anna Kendrick) to tag along. Because nothing says “clean slate” like dragging your former frenemy to your probably (most likely) suspicious wedding. What could possibly go wrong? (Spoiler: absolutely everything.)

We’ve got mystery. We’ve got drama. We’ve got Blake Lively in a ludicrously capacious hat on the Amalfi Coast. And if that’s not enough to get you streaming, might we remind you that Henry Golding and Michele Morrone are also in this cast? You’re welcome.

Directed by Paul Feig, aka the king of making chaos look chic, Another Simple Favor is the comedic thriller we didn’t know we needed – but we’re so glad it’s here. Catch it May 1, only on Prime Video.
