After having a rocky start to 2025, following the actions of her ex-boyfriend James Kennedy, it’s safe to say the entire Bravoverse is rooting for Vanderpump Rules alum Ally Lewber. When Ally joined the Lisa Vanderpump hive, it was instantly evident that the astrologist singer and step-dog-parent was bringing a major ray of sunshine to the chaotic friend group. Plus, I simply can’t forget that Ally is the one who blew the lid off of Scandoval after spotting a certain infamous couple getting jiggy at The Abbey (a tale as old as time), even before Ken Todd iconically uttered “I can’t believe Tom Sandoval had Racquel over when Ariana was away…in the jacuzzi as well.” From that moment on, Ally became a VPR star, who is now reading the stars on her new celebrity astrology podcast, StarStruck. When I chatted with Ally about moving on in early April, I had to ask: Is Ally Lewber single again?

Betches: What is your relationship status right now?

Ally Lewber: Single.

Are you enjoying it?

I am enjoying it. I feel like I’m finally… January and February were hard, honestly, but I’m just so grateful for StarStruck. I feel like that’s my relationship right now. I love her, and I love my team. I just feel incredibly grateful and the guests that we’ve had on. Not having a relationship, I’m able to pour so much of that energy…well first into myself, of course. But then be able to really show up and be fully present for my show and for the guests, and for my clients that I do readings with during the day, I really feel great.

You mentioned that when Lisa Vanderpump reached out to you to check on you [after James Kennedy’s arrest], the conversation might’ve felt like she was pushing you towards giving James another chance. I was curious about where you stand with Lisa now and if there’s anyone else in the Vanderpump universe who has been supportive of your healing journey.

I haven’t talked to Lisa since that call, which is pretty normal; she’s a very busy lady. Wish her the best, obviously, with her new shows that are coming out and all of her restaurants, all of the things. I talk to Scheana the most. I’ll see her this weekend at Coachella. I’m really close with her sister, Cortney. Even Erika, her mom. That whole family. They’re just so caring and kind, and she will drop anything to pick up a call and check in on her friends. She really is such an amazing friend. Even in moments where I’m feeling anxious or sad, I know that I can call her, and she’ll kind of talk me off the ledge and say, “Okay, you’re right where you need to be. Everything’s fine.”

That’s very sweet. What’s her sun [sign] again? I forgot.

So she’s got all the energy, but her sun is in the 12th house, which is the house of deep emotions. That’s why her chart always interests me because people don’t really see… I think that people know Scheana has a good heart, but she really feels everything super intensely and genuinely wants everyone to just be happy and good.

I think it’s been difficult for fans the past couple of seasons, trying to see her intentions, but I totally believe that she has good intentions, and it’s just getting maybe lost in translation a little bit.

Her Gemini rising can get her in a little trouble.

I think maybe in that same interview, you had mentioned that James and Lisa had a really close relationship, and when you first started dating, it took you a moment to understand what that was about and why she was so protective of James. What did you mean by that, and what did you learn about their dynamic?

Lisa’s a Virgo. Virgos help. Literally, that’s Virgo’s role in the Zodiac; they’re very efficient, but they help people. I think that Lisa’s very work-oriented, but when she does care about someone, she genuinely just wants what’s best for them. I’m not saying that I’ve ever felt that [but] there’s something with her feeling very protective over James, and I think she just wants to make sure that he is okay.

I feel like she’s project-oriented. I’m a huge LVP fan just from The Housewives, and you see that there.

That’s such a good point. Yeah, it is that Virgo energy of like, “I’m going to keep the ship running until we literally can’t function, and then that is what it is.”

In your episode with Jenn Tran, you guys were talking about how public pressures, outside voices, and relationships can impact how that relationship goes. Are you open to dating someone on reality TV or in the public eye again?

I never say never. I think that I’m also just not at that point in my life currently where I’m even interested. I don’t even know what I want because I’m just like nothing. There is a weird thing with reality TV where I think once you have experienced it, you can kind of instantly share that bond with someone. I have some friends who are on the Bachelor or Bachelorette, and I understand why people kind of date in the group; they’ve shared this experience that’s kind of wild together. But I feel like none of us seek that out. Nobody really wants to have their entire [relationship public]. I don’t personally want that. I’m not a super PDA person. So I don’t know, yeah, probably not.
