Netflix’s Love Is Blind is known for dramatic, fame-hungry people, who stir the pot whether they’re looking for love, competing for a cash prize, or arguing across a dinner table. But, while reality TV wouldn’t survive without these personalities, there’s another important character in reality TV: the person that seems too normal to be there. When it comes to Love Is Blind season 7, two of these types are Taylor Krause and Garrett Josemans.
In the pods, Taylor and Garrett bonded over how they’re both scientists — he a physicist, she works in clean energy — and how they both have science-related tattoos. They talked about their families, their hopes for the future, and sealed the deal with a gifted avocado plant and an engagement. When they got to meet face to face, both Garrett and Taylor were happy with what they saw, and it was smooth sailing throughout the cast trip to Mexico. They ended the first six episodes as one of the strongest couples.
If anything, it seems like they might not get married in the end, because they’re too reasonable — Taylor has repeatedly talked about saying “I do” not being a done deal — but, hey, if they both agree to that and just decide to continue dating, that’s a win. (Really, that’s probably more of a win than actually getting married, because, hello! It’s pretty wild to get married after meeting someone on a show only a few weeks earlier.)
So, are Garrett and Taylor together now? Obviously, we’ll have to wait until the finale to see if they make it to the altar and then wait for the reunion episode to find out more about their current status. But there are some clues out there.
Are Taylor And Garrett Still Together?
First of all, there’s the preview for the rest of the season. We see that Garrett and Taylor make it far enough into the show that they meet each other’s moms, both of whom express some skepticism about the “experiment”. The couple are also shown at a 1920s-themed party with other cast members in attendance. This is where we finally get some drama from them. Garrett tells Taylor that his ex-girlfriend texted him. She asks if he responded, then is shown rolling her eyes.
The preview at the end of the first six episodes is edited not to show the faces of the couples who actually make it to their wedding day. But, the trailer for the entire season that came out earlier shows Garrett at the altar. They make it to the altar, people!
But do they get married? Are they still together? Taylor and Garrett’s social media doesn’t give any clear indication. They’re not, like, going around posting photos of one another, and Garrett mostly posts about fishing. There are posts that raise questions, though. Taylor’s TikTok shows her decorating an apartment — did she move in with Garrett? On her Instagram, she shared a post captioned, “Swipe right to see my forever plus one” that reveals herself and a friend at a wedding — is this teasing that her “forever plus one” isn’t Garrett or just something to throw fans off the scent? In May, he posted about visiting The Netherlands around the same time that she posted about being in Switzerland — coincidental European vacations or a trip across the continent together?
Yeah, all unanswerable questions for now. We’ll just have to keep our eyes out for more clues as the season unfolds. I’m rooting for these two nerds.
