When John was a guest on the Full Send podcast (I’ve never heard a podcast name more straight white male in my life), he revealed that he was in a serious relationship before his famous DJ days, back when he was a normie accountant. “When I was a CPA, I had a girlfriend and stuff,” he said on the show. “And then as soon as I went full-time DJ, I [was] like, ‘That’s not working out.'” What a gem. John claimed that having a girlfriend while being a DJ is “impossible,” noting, “I can’t really say too much, but I would not trust any DJ to be honest.” No way! So good to know.
These days, the chronically online community believes that there’s something going on between him and Ashtin Earle. During July 4th week, John and Ashtin were spotted making out, dancing, and holding hands at several parties in the Hamptons. He even seemed to post the influencer on his Instagram Story… a blurry photo, but it certainly looked like her. The DJ told Jake that he hasn’t seriously dated anyone in five years now, and he also revealed that he’s not a romantic. “I’ve never gotten a girl flowers,” John boldly declared. When Jake looked horrified, John was quick to correct himself: “I’ve gotten my mom flowers once!” Should we give him a sticker?
For some reason, he kept going on this flower tangent. “‘Cause like, unless they’re asking for it, why would you just give it?” John asked Jake. “What if they’re allergic?” He’s literally just looking out for women’s health.
