If I’m being honest, Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet’s relationship is my Roman Empire. The two of them together simply make no sense in my brain. But after he got a golden ticket to the annual Kardashian-Jenner Christmas party, I had to give up my conspiracy that it’s all a PR stunt orchestrated by Kris Jenner.
Clearly, Kylie has been the picture-perfect girlfriend for Timmy this year, from sneaking into his Wonka premiere to attending the Saturday Night Live after party when he hosted. Therefore, it’s no surprise she’s there to support him AND makeout with him at the Golden Globes.

Yup, your eyes are not playing tricks on you! Kylie is there in the flesh smackin’ lips with Mr. Wonka himself! Mr. Frenchie McFrench was nominated for best actor in a musical or comedy category for Wonka. The cameras seem glued to Kylie and Timothée — and we’re not mad about it. In other clips circulating on social media, Kylie can be seen playing with his necklace and looking every bit like a doting girlfriend.
While it would’ve been nice to see these two go red carpet official, we’ll take the inside footage. They actually look cute AF in coordinating outfits. Timmy wore the sparkliest black blazer while Kylie complimented him in an elegant black gown with a sheer lace neckline.
“Kylie and Timothée have been doing really well,” a source told Entertainment Tonight.“Even though Kylie has so many of her own commitments, she is very proud of Timothée and wants to be there for him and support him. Timothée is equally supportive of Kylie and admires her strong work ethic and how committed she is as a mom.” We love to see it.
Kylie is a boyfriend kind of gal — she’s been in basically two long-term relationships in her adult life with Tyga and Travis Scott, both of which she has kept relatively quiet. After Timothée’s passionate makeout session with ex Lily-Rose Depp on a boat, which he called embarrassing, he has also kept all his relationships out of the spotlight.
“Sometimes, people are going to be hella confused when you say you’re trying to live a private life,” Timothée told GQ, explaining that he wants to separate his professional and personal life. “You’ve got to have the experiences in your personal life that are usable to you … The experiential rush of my career taking off was so new to me that those were the experiences that were feeding my work for a while. But you’ve got to have real experiences. Human experiences. You’ve got to fall in love, you’ve got to be bored.”
