The competition is fierce this season on The Voice. Now in its 27th season, it makes sense that there have been some shake-ups in the rules in order to mix things up; I mean, you gotta try to keep things fresh after nearly 15 years on the air. So this season, The Voice made a big change by including a “Super Save” rule, which means each of the coaches — Adam Levine, John Legend, Michael Bublé, and Kelsea Ballerini — got to bring back one eliminated contestant for the live semi-finals.
So, the top 8 became the top 12 when the Adam brought back Conor James, John brought back Olivia Cooper-Harris, Michael brought back Kaiya Hamilton, and Kelsea brought back Jaelen Johnston. That group of top 12 singers performed during the season’s first live show on May 12, and then they were whittled all the way down to five. Now, don’t get me wrong, I love some tight competition. But putting seven contestants on the chopping block all at once just seems brutal to me. Nevertheless, that’s how it went down, and fan favorites like Conor James and Bryson Battle got eliminated. Here’s your breakdown of who’s left in the running as a finalist in The Voice season 27.
The Voice 2025 Finalists
Jadyn Cree
Going far in The Voice runs in Jaydn’s family, since her dad Bryan Olesen was a finalist in The Voice season 25, and Jaydn even gave a spontaneous performance during his season. When she auditioned for season 27, Jaydn said, “My dad definitely left some big shoes to fill. I’m excited to make him proud and try my best to get anywhere close to where he got in this competition.” According to her bio, her “versatile performances span from Madonna to Dolly Parton,” and she’s been rocking out on Team Bublé.
Adam David
Adam’s been going strong on Team Bublé, too. Six years sober after struggling with addiction, he hopes to support others by performing weekly at rehab centers around South Florida.
Jaelen Johnston
The only lucky Super Save recipient to make it to the top 5, Jaelen is singing for Team Ballerini. Before The Voice, Jaelen was working hard on his music while also working full-time at McConnell Air Force Base.
Lucia Flores-Wiseman
Lucia blends indie, folk, and jazz to create her unique singing style, which she’s honing on Team Levine.. She’s inspired by Brandi Carlisle and is based in Washington state.
RENZO
In 2018, RENZO made it to the top 10 finalists of American Idol, but didn’t make it all the way. This could be his time to win a singing competition, thanks to the powerhouse performances he’s giving on Team Legend.
