The thing about m*n is they’re never actually canceled for abhorrent behavior. They just go on a quick vacation and then come back and do whatever TF they want, like nothing happened. Remember when the nation bonded over despising Tom Sandoval and The New York Times literally called the reality star “the most hated man in America”? Well, it seems that’s an attitude of the past. In case you need a Scandoval refresher (since some folks seem to be experiencing amnesia), this man cheated on his life partner of nine years (Queen Ariana Madix) with her younger bestie, Rachel Leviss — oh, and it was a seven-month affair that got exposed on their show, Vanderpump Rules. Not to mention, he then had the audacity to compare Scandoval to the death of George Floyd in an interview, beyond disgusting.
And yet, Tom’s receiving standing ovations these days. He auditioned for America’s Got Talent with his band, Most Extras, and they got a shockingly positive reaction from the judges… Here’s Tom Sandoval’s America’s Got Talent audition video, plus all the details about him on the show.

Tom Sandoval’s America’s Got Talent Audition Video
If I had to suffer through these videos, so do you! (Sorry.) Tom’s mid cover band took the AGT stage to perform “Take On Me” by A-Ha for judges Simon Cowell, Sofía Vergara, Howie Mandel, and Mel B. In the band’s intro, Tom admits he “was involved in a very bad cheating scandal.” The passive “was involved” is frying me. The performance was basically him prancing around in that sparkly green jacket, serving high school choir-level vocals, and attempting to cosplay, like, Benson Boone.
Mel somehow had a glowing review. “You made me smile,” the Spice Girls alum told Tom and the band. “You gave me happy vibes. And apart from that song being one of my favorite songs, you all look like you were fully enjoying yourself.” Unfortunately, Sofía echoed that sentiment, adding, “I love the band. I love the energy. Tom, you look amazing up there. I thought you guys brought us joy tonight.”
Howie agreed and called Tom a “showman” who “really takes this seriously.” PLEASE. Simon took a moment to humble him, at least. “The vocals weren’t great Tom, I’m gonna be honest with you,” he said. “However, not everyone comes on this show to get a record deal. Sometimes, it’s about being true to who you are.” Girl, since when is a talent show not about the talent?
How Far Does Tom Sandoval Make It On America’s Got Talent?
Welp, all four judges said yes, so he’s moving on to the next round now! Tom winning America’s Got Talent would be actually so on-brand for Trump’s America, but here’s hoping the Vanderpump Rules villain doesn’t last too long.
