The ‘Forensic Evidence’ From Jenna Cooper’s Text Messages Is In

Even though The Bachelor is in the off-season, the drama keeps on coming. First, we found out that Nick Viall and Ben Higgins basically have no faith in Colton Underwood as the Bachelor (same tho). And now, the long-awaited “forensic evidence” from Jenna Cooper’s text messages is in. For those of you who need a quick refresher because you moved on with your lives after the Bachelor in Paradise finale (fair), here’s the deal: the night of the finale, Reality Steve leaked text messages, reportedly from Jenna, claiming she never loved Jordan and was cheating on him the entire time. Jenna, for her part, denied she wrote those messages from the beginning and vowed to clear her name. Last week, she posted a picture of some “extraction” device that looks like it’s from the early days of the internet, claiming the forensic analysis of her text messages was in. She said in her post that she was telling Jordan about the results before informing fans. Well, finally, Jenna has revealed this supposed evidence. To quote Burt Macklin, this case just remained interesting.

In an Instagram post, Jenna posted a new selfie (lol, respect), and in the caption details the outcome of the extraction test from last week.

Obviously, like I already knew…the forensic analysis of my electronic devices and iCloud account prove that the fraudulent text messages posted by “Reality” Steve were not mine. There is growing and compelling evidence pointing to who was behind this attack on me, and it is very sad. Given the legal issues and ongoing investigation, I am delaying posting the forensic data until the investigation is fully completed. One thing is for sure, there is a huge twist and it is killing me keeping it quiet while the investigation is completed. You WILL be hearing more about this in the next few weeks, but I am going to attempt to start moving on with my life. #TheWaitIsWorthIt #JusticeServedCold

“Obviously, like I already knew,” she writes, “the forensic analysis of my electronic devices and iCloud account prove that the fraudulent text messages posted by ‘Reality’ Steve were not mine.” Plot twist, and LOL at putting “reality” in quotes! It is a plot twist, though. I definitely thought she was cheating. But then again, couldn’t Jenna have just cleared her iCloud account before running this test? I’m not familiar with fake spy devices, so someone will have to enlighten me.

She continues, “There is growing and compelling evidence pointing to who was behind this attack on me, and it is very sad. Given the legal issues and ongoing investigation, I am delaying posting the forensic data until the investigation is fully completed.”

So, somebody purposely fabricated text messages to make Jenna look guilty? That’s weird. Who would bother doing such a thing? Jenna also seems to imply that she’s suing over this, which seems unnecessary. Like, Jordan already broke up with her. The damage is done. A lawsuit isn’t going to bring her Instagram relationship back, and I feel like this would be a hard thing to prove to a court anyway. “Your Honor, the defendant caused my fake engagement to end, depriving me of approximately one year of FabFitFun opportunities”? Wait actually… I feel like that could work. Jenna, if you need legal counsel, HMU.

The caption ends, “One thing is for sure, there is a huge twist and it is killing me keeping it quiet while the investigation is completed. You WILL be hearing more about this in the next few weeks, but I am going to attempt to start moving on with my life.”

Oh yeah, okay. “I’m going to keep quiet about this so as to drum up as much suspense as possible, because without Jordan, nobody gives a sh*t about me anymore.” Cool, thanks for that. This had better be some Princess Diana-level conspiracy, otherwise I don’t want to hear it. Like, unless Annaliese herself fabricated those text messages and spoofed Jenna’s phone number in a crazed plot to win Jordan back, I don’t care. OMG, wait. I really hope that’s what happened.

Reality Steve, like me, isn’t buying it. On Monday he responded via Twitter.

“As I said last week,” he says, “nothing Jenna says or does now means anything to me. It’s been 3 weeks. Her actions immediately after this came out explain everything. She’s just trying to save face and I don’t believe anything that comes out of her mouth now. I stand by my reporting.”

Will this actually be the most dramatic twist in Bachelor history? Stay tuned for more news on these stupid text messages, because once I start covering something, I feel compelled to see it through.
