Okay, so first let me start out by saying I am extremely lazy. The type of lazy where I won’t even bother getting off the couch to get my remote and would rather just lay there bingeing Real Housewives episodes, even though I’ve seen them all 100 times. But I’m not complaining. Also, if someone asks me to go out after I’ve already gotten home, it’s going to be a hard no from me. Because that also involves spending time picking out an outfit. So no, I think I’ll pass. The good news is, the matching sets continue to be a trend, so that’s like only having to pick one thing from your closet, so maybe I’ll consider that. When the universe is against you and you are forced to socialize, matching sets are a good option to have in your closet. So here are my three celebrity-inspired sets that I have been wearing all summer.
First off, Kylie Jenner. The new 20-year-old mom just got her pre-baby body back, and she certainly knows how to show it off. Even in the form of bathroom selfies. When she takes a picture in a bathroom it’s cool, but when I do it it’s trashy??? Life is unfair.
Kylie’s tan set was my inspiration for this bright yellow set from Topshop. I’ve worn this about five times already this summer and it hasn’t disappointed. It’s great for a vacation and even better for rooftop Saturdays. If you’re cool with looking like a sunflower, I recommend this set.
Next, is my favorite matching set and girl, gingham and Olivia Culpo. First off, congrats to her for getting back with Danny Amendola. I’m not upset about him not being single anymore or anything, I’ll work through it.
Culpo is wearing a gingham pant and crop top set, and I found a very similar style but with a skort from Forever21. It’s perfect for the picnics your boyfriend promises he’s going to take you on but never does, so just wear this to a Sunday brunch with your friends. To complete the look, white heels or sneakers go perfectly with the outfit.
Lastly, my inspiration for this look was Madison Beer. Now, it’s not exactly what she is wearing, but her Clueless Cher Horowitz vibe really spoke to me.
I found this matching skirt and top at Zara which I’ve truly been living in. My co-workers probably think I got robbed and this skirt and top are all I have left. This look really is perfect for both work and post-work drinks you don’t want to go to.

Summer has finally arrived, and with the weather being so nice, it’s like you can just smell relationships ending. (At least, that’s what my shitty ex-boyfriend would probably say.) Anyway, this also means it’s now bathing suit season. Bathing suit shopping is right up there on the list of things I hate to do—it’s a close second to walking up stairs. None of us like to be personally victimized by the fluorescent lighting of the department store dressing room, but what makes bathing suit shopping even more dreadful is when designers try to sell four pieces of thread for $700, as if I’m made of money. This really bothers me, and I won’t be a part of it. I found some great websites that have affordable bathing suits that you’re basically guaranteed to look super cute in, even if you just drank a whole 6-pack on the beach.
The first place you need to look when shopping for affordable bathing suits is Pretty Little Things. This website has extremely affordable bathing suits to the point where I add 25 of them to my cart and then I need to pray my card goes through. What I love most about this website is the bathing suits range from Miami stripper attire all the way to swimsuits you could wear to a family barbecue. Their cover-ups are also very different: think see-through dresses that look like you spent a fortune at some cute boutique in the south of France when really the closet thing I get to France is eating fries on the beach. I found this bathing suit that is a complete copy of what Kendall wore in Cannes. And it’s two for $38! Excuse me, I think I may be having a small heart attack.

Now, ASOS is a go-to for all things, but bathing suits in particular they really nail. Their sizing seems to be spot-on, so you can continue to avoid fitting rooms without worrying you’re ordering a child’s size bathing suit. ASOS also has a wide range of styles, and the return process is super easy if you happen to fuck it up. Anyway. After Olivia Culpo was tragically dumped by Danny Amendola, she went to Vegas and wore a black cover-up that would make any ex-boyfriend want to die. I found a copy on ASOS—your ex will hate you but in a good way.

Next is Forever21 and I know what you’re thinking: “no no no, Forever 21 is cheap and not good quality.” And you may be right, except for the fact that you aren’t. Some bathing suits I have from Forever 21 are my favorites and I’ve had them for multiple summers. (Kinda gross I haven’t thrown them out, but whatever.) Forever 21 is also the best at copying designer trends and selling them for $14. Sorry about it. Let’s keep with the model trend, shall we? I found a copy of one of Nina Agdal’s bathing suits for $40.

Last but certainly not least is Missguided. The best thing about their website is that you can literally get any bathing suit in any color. Bathing suit shopping doesn’t have to be that bad, and at least you’re saving money and can spend it on ridiculous animal shaped floats just so you can pretend to be a Kardashian on Instagram. It’s okay, I have at least three. Emily Ratajowski started a swimwear line, but I’m not into her price range. Here is an exact copy of her style. Wish we could copy her body.

With the summer FINALLY deciding to show up this year, thoughts of vacationing are consuming us. So in this week’s fashion column, let’s talk travel outfits. Now this may not be a big deal to most people, but like a lot of things that don’t matter, it consumes my thoughts. Travel outfits can be tricky. Sometimes I’m feeling sporty, sometimes I’m feeling chic, and sometimes I just want to look really fucking cool. TBH I just want to get really good Insta shot. However, I never want to be that girl going through airport security in stilettos—and neither should you. Somehow, celebrities always manage to look extremely fashion-forward and put-together even when they just got off a plane, so I’m looking to them to inspire some solid travel outfits.
I have three airport looks that I have recreated and changed a little, but of course, it’s all a look for less!
Look 1: Kendall Jenner
First up is Kendall, who is always effortlessly cool with her style. She can wear a paper bag and call it fashion and I would still think she’s the coolest person on the planet. Bitch.
Kendall is the inspiration for my sporty airport look. My windbreakers are from forever 21 paired with a white crop top also from forever 21. Throw on with a pair of white sneakers, and you are literally good to go. Add a fanny pack and leather jacket to your look and people will ask you if you’re TSA pre-check.
Pants: Forever 21 striped Cali joggers
Top: Forever 21 rolled hem crop tee
Look 2: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley
Airport looks also depend on where you’re going. If you need to be off the plane and headed somewhere quickly you may need to upgrade your style from sporty to chic. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley does this perfectly, so of course I’ve copied her.
I’m wearing a basic black pant and black tee from Forever 21, but Zara has a similar pair of pants. I paired it with a nude trench from Naked Wardrobe. I threw on some Steve Madden heels, and I literally feel like someone should be directing me to the private plane section. Also, mini bags are super on trend right now. I found this one in my mom’s closet, but here are some similar ones.
Pants: Zara the high waist in Revolve black
Shirt: Zara rib T-shirt
Trench: Naked Wardrobe out of touch sheer trench
Look 3: Olivia Culpo
Next, sometimes you just want to look really cool, like you’re an international pop star boarding your flight for your upcoming tour. (Not like I dream about that or anything.)
Olivia was my inspo for this look, but I switched it up a bit. I’m wearing Zara joggers, which are extremely comfortable. I then threw on this crop black sweatshirt from forever 21 and a black leather jacket. Now it depends on how you’re feeling if you want to wear sneakers or a heel with this look. But since I’m an international pop star, I threw on sock boots on for the gram.

Memorial Day Weekend is right around the corner, and I have the model-inspired crop tops you’re going to need. As always, I found them for half the price. Memorial Day weekend is like the prom to me. No seriously, it gives me as much anxiety as my senior prom. It is the kick off to summer, and I always
s talk run into my ex this time every year. Therefore, it’s a MUST to look amazing, and what better way to look amazing than in a crop top? That’s why I scoured Instagram to find the cutest and trendiest crop tops seen on celebs lately, and then I found you cheap af dupes. Not all heroes wear capes.
