I know what you’re probably thinking…I’m trying to sell you socks?! But look in your sock drawer and tell me you don’t have 5 mismatched pairs with a ton of holes in them. Yeah…you need an upgrade, and I’m here to tell you that the Hanes Ultimate Comfort Ankle Socks are exactly what you should be stocking up on. These socks are a must-have for your top drawer, thanks to their combination of comfort, durability, and affordability. (Hello, $11 price tag!)
One of the most significant benefits of these ankle socks is their comfort. Made from a blend of cotton, polyester, and spandex, these socks are soft and comfortable to wear all day long. The fabric is also breathable, which means your feet will stay cool and dry even on the hottest days. Literally, who has time for sweaty feet?
Another great feature of these socks is their durability. With reinforced heels and toes, these socks are built to last. The reinforced areas of the sock are designed to withstand wear and tear, so you won’t have to worry about them developing holes or thinning out over time. Additionally, the socks are machine-washable, making them easy to care for and keep looking like new.
In terms of style, they’re are a classic and versatile choice. The ankle length is perfect for wearing with sneakers, boots, or any other type of shoe. They’re the perfect sock to have peeking out of your sneakers for your #hotgirlwalk—I promise. Plus, the socks come in a pack of six, and there are multiple color options to choose from, including black, white, and gray.
And since they’re such a steal, the Hanes Ultimate Women’s Ankle Socks really give you a bang for you buck with six whole pairs at your disposal. You can stock up on multiple packs without breaking the bank, which means you’ll always have a clean pair of socks on hand when you need them. Whether you’re running errands, working out, or just lounging at home, these socks are a comfortable and reliable choice.
Overall, if it’s time to swap out your go-to socks that are on their last seam, these are an excellent choice for a replacement. They offer comfort, durability, and style, all at an affordable price point. Listen…those hole-y socks you’re currently wearing are kinda embarrassing. Stock up on these. Trust me. It’s time.

If you’re like me, the virus has put a hold on many things, but online shopping is certainly not one of them. In fact, every time boredom strikes, I can’t help but browse all of the sales currently happening. Like, Tom Ford is literally 60% off Nordstrom Rack right now… how does one resist such an opportunity?
The answer: we don’t.
I’m justifying this spending by telling myself I would have spent this money going out to dinner on single meals, but instead now I’m investing in pieces that will last me a lifetime. Cost per wear, if you may.
So, I’m going to give you a breakdown of my favorite sales at a little store called Nordstrom Rack, where designer items go when all else fails. Here are a few must haves so you can feel ~cool for the summer~ ….or whichever season we’re finally allowed back in public again.
Accessories
As a little black dress is a staple in all wardrobes, a little (medium/large) tote should be as well. Black is on trend every day of every season, and that will never change. Marc Jacobs is having a super sale (50% sitewide), but Nordstrom is one-upping their sale with 60% or more off their Marc Jacobs inventory.
There are a few choices for black totes, but The Tag 27 Leather Tote is my personal favorite. It differs from the basic tote (which is good, because you can also get that at Zara for $20) and still adds some zest to a classic look. It also comes in pink, which is less practical than the black, but do you. Both colors are currently retailing for $149.47 (originally $395) at a 62% discount.
Marc Jacobs The Tag 27 Leather Tote
Neon had a moment last summer, and tie-dye is having its moment this summer. But, given the fact that 2020 has been put on hold thus far, a neon bag will hold its power for a second season and can still be considered a staple statement piece when paired with the correct outfit.
I am loving the Atlas Neon Leather Shoulder Bag from Rag & Bone, which is currently retailing for $299.97, at a 52% discount. Brands like Gucci have released their color collections for summer, which retail around 2k, so this piece is a steal. The braided strap gives it an edgy touch, and can be paired with a leather jacket to complete the vibe or a classic monochromatic blazer/bike short outfit to add some spice and contrast. Either way, it’s a worthy purchase in my book.

I used to not give a sh*t about sunglasses, but then I moved to NYC and realized that $10 sunglasses from Forever 21 were social suicide. Of course, I’m not bashing anyone who doesn’t want to splurge on sunglasses, but if you do seek designer shades, Nordstrom Rack has you covered. I literally can’t narrow it down to a single recommendation, so I’ll share a few of my current favorites.
If you’ve been on Instagram, you’ve seen the rising trend in monochromatic pastel sunglasses. This pair from Prada sticks out to me, because it’s not the impractical tiny sunglasses we saw last summer, but it still brings the sunshine to your look. I’m drawn to the green, but if the pink brings out your inner Barbie, then so be it. Originally retailing for $258, you can now get this pair for $119.97, at 54% off, which is a rarity for Prada, so take advantage.
Tom Ford sunglasses are a hit or miss for me (some of the styles are TOO ugly-chic) but when they’re good, they’re great. The Anna style are my absolute favorite because they literally look good on everyone. They’re the perfect dose of subtle and sexy, and the gold accent makes everything better. Originally retailing at $430 (ouch), a 63% discount has allowed for us to purchase them at $159.97. If you know Tom Ford, you know this is a worthy STEAL.
Tom Ford Anna 49mm Modified Cat Eye Bar Sunglasses
Keeping the spirit of tie dye/pastels alive, these Gucci aviators are a chic seasonal way to take your look to the next level, and just looking at them makes me crave summer. I’m not even actually sure if we’ll be able to socialize this summer, but that won’t stop the sun from shining, and glasses are a long-term necessity. I like this pair because the style itself is simple, unlike some of Gucci’s more, shall we say, unconventional pairs, but still gives you a flash. OG price was $390, and these cuties are 67% off (best deal yet) so you can grab them for $129.97. Worth it.
Footwear
Shoes are hard because trends change with the wind, but there are a few styles that never expire. A strappy sandal, a white sneaker, and booties all have stood the test of time.
Unpopular opinion, but when it comes to sandals, I care less about the designer and more about the actual look. I’ve gotten more compliments on my Steve Madden basics than my Louboutins, and that sums it up in my book. The Sam Edelman Ariella Ankle Strap Sandal is the best kind of basic and comes in black and nude, the only two colors that ACTUALLY matter in a shoe. They’re currently on sale for $31.98, originally retailing at $100, and are well worth it.
Sam Edelman Ariella Ankle Strap Sandal
Sneakers have taken the fashion world by storm over the last few years, and can now be paired with a suit or dress and still make sense. To this day, my go-to combo remains an all white sneaker with a white tube sock. It’s comfy, it’s chic, and it’s cool. I love the Arelle Exaggerated Sole Sneaker from Steve Madden (in white). They’re only 40% off (rude) but currently an extra 20% (nice) and retailing at $47.98 instead of $100. Cute.
Steve Madden Arelle Exaggerated Sole Sneaker
I know the thought of purchasing booties in May is rather nauseating, but I promise it’s worth it. Stuart Weitzman is 68% off at Nordstrom Rack, which I found rather shocking, but also thrilling. It’s a bit jarring how many businesses are hurting, but I will humbly take the discounted booties in the meantime. The Quinn Block Heel Bootie was my choice purchase this time around, because a classic black bootie is always a safe, chic bet. These are still typically more than I’d spend on a bootie at $189.97… but, they were originally $595, so if there was ever a time to splurge on a shoe, it’s now.

Clothing
The bulk of Nordstrom Rack deals fall in the clothing department, which has just about everything you can think of. Narrowing down 40,000+ choices to my top favorites—no problem. It’s a tough job but someone’s gotta do it, so please thank me in the form of DMing me with your favorite sales happening. I can shop more and you can save money, a win/win.
I’m starting with leggings, because that is the closest thing to a pant I’ve put on in two months. They’re debatably the most important piece of clothing in and out of quarantine, and therefore, brand/quality matters. 90 Degree By Reflex has their Interlink Side Pocket High Waist Leggings on super sale right now, and once again I’m shocked because these are a hot commodity. They’re a whopping 75% off and currently retailing for $19.97 (originally $78). These leggings have pockets, and I assume you’re sold by that statement alone, so I’ll move on.
90 Degree By Reflex Interlink Side Pocket High Waist Leggings
All leggings need their partner-in-crime, a comfy sweatshirt. There are a million and one cute sweatshirts available, but my current favorite is the Champion Campus French Terry Cropped Crew Neck Pullover. I feel sort of like a hype kid for loving this (maybe I’ve been watching too much TikTok???) but IDC because it’s cute. It’s on sale for $36.97, which might crush your soul given that Champion used to be $5 at Walmart back in the day, but times are changing and it’s better than its $55 original price tag.
Champion Campus French Terry Cropped Crew Neck Pullover
As mentioned earlier, summer is still up in the air, but warm weather is not. So, you might as well be prepared in the event that we are allowed outside in the coming months with some cute pieces! Let’s think positively.
I have such a thing for modernized prairie dresses, and I think they bring sunshine to anyone’s look. This is a staple for me starting May 1, and I essentially wear different versions of the same dress daily until it snows again (half kidding). REFORMATION has a great sale going on at Nordstrom Rack, and the Napa Wrap Midi Dress is on sale for $79.97—that’s a 63% discount from the original $218 price tag. I firmly believe that all-purpose dresses are always worth the purchase because they work for work, happy hour, your best friend’s baby shower, and your next vacation.
Reformation Napa Wrap Midi Dress
If there is ONE item that actually has never gone out of style, it’s the jean jacket. Like, there are photos of my 60-year-old parents rocking jean jackets throughout their lives, and it’s still a closet staple now all these years later. One would assume that 90% of us have the classic denim jacket in our closets, and it’s time to spruce things up. I am loving this Rag & Bone Snakeskin Print Crop Fray Denim Jacket because it’s keeping the animal print spirit alive, but in a new form. No, I don’t want to see your cheetah bodysuit or booties again this year, but YES, I do want to see your secretly snakeskin jean jacket. This one in particular is 68% off, previously $495, but now $157.48. A ssssssteal.
Rag & Bone Snakeskin Print Crop Fray Denim Jacket
And there we have it. Wow. So many deals, so little time. Honestly, Nordstrom Rack is adding new cute stuff daily (I’m not being paid to say this, in fact I’m only losing money every time I am on their site) and helps me get the designer clothes I want at a price I can actually (almost) afford. So if and when you are ready to shop till you drop, you know where to find the best deals.
You know you love me, xoxo, quarantined girl.

In my opinion, there’s nothing cooler than a fashion blogger who can successfully mix expensive and inexpensive fashion pieces. Like, someone who can mix a head-to-toe Zara ensemble with a casual Chanel bag in such a stylish way that I just assume everything she’s wearing is designer. And, in the same vein, there’s also nothing more disappointing than a fashion blogger who does dress head-to-toe in everything designer, which is an unattainable reality for most of us peasants. Besides, it’s also not as cool because it’s not as impressive—like, if you have money, then I expect you to be able to dress great. Those of us who follow fashion trends on IG know the crushing disappointment of seeing your fave blogger wear something that you just “have to have,” only to discover said piece has a price tag that’s triple your paycheck. That being said, there are some obsession-worthy designer Instagram trends happening right now that you probably want to get in on, but don’t think you can afford to. Well, I’ve done you all the favor of finding pieces similar to the designer ones you love so that you can actually do the more fiscally responsible thing of not blowing your entire paycheck on a single trendy designer piece.
1. Square-Toe Heels
I will bet my life savings that you have seen these shoes on Instagram by now. (Disclaimer: my life savings right now is like, $3.) Everyone out there who considers themselves a “fashionista” knows that Bottega Veneta is the current “it” brand. They have made square-toe heels THE only heel you need for fall. There are two different popular iterations of the heels that are currently trending: square-toe black mesh and square-toe cushion sandal. Both are super cute, but at just about $1,000 a pair, they’re highly impractical. Instead, I found these incredible dupes for you all that are a reasonable $70. I can’t imagine they’ll be in stock for long, though, so be early to the trend and order yours ASAP.
2. Pouch “Cloud” Bag
Sticking with the currently popular Bottega Veneta trend, the pouch or “cloud” bag is very clearly the only bag you need to be cool on Instagram this season. PSA, though, from one drunk mess to another: this is not the ideal bag for bringing to a boozy brunch because it seems way too easy to lose. So, don’t max out your credit card for this bag that you’ll 100% leave in your Uber home. Rather, get this amazing dupe from Amazon and save approximately $2,500 (along with the self-hatred that comes with inevitably losing your expensive bag).
Simple Dumplings Messenger Bag, $28.99
3. Chain Belt
Okay, so in general right now “chain” sh*t is very big on Instagram. Between chain necklaces, earrings, pumps, and belts, they are everywhere. In fact, you’ve probs seen your fave fashion bloggers casually rocking a Chanel chain belt. Uhm, happy for you and your financial success, but like, I can’t afford that. Even on The Real Real, the cheapest chain belt I can find is like $300, and it’s rusted and not cute. And considering I do still need to pay my monthly rent, even $300 on a trendy designer belt just isn’t going to work for me. Fortunately for all of us, there are plenty of chic and expensive looking chain belts that are actually affordable. I actually own this one from Princess Polly and I highly recommend it.
Princess Polly Artemis Belt, $28
4. Feather Crop Top
Okay, so this trend is definitely extra, which is exactly why it’s such a hit on Instagram. Like, it’s highly unlikely you’re wearing this costume-esque top out in real life unless you’re Kourtney Kardashian, but you’re doing it for the ‘gram! The strapless feather crop top simply isn’t practical; however, it will definitely rake in the likes. That being said, there’s no need to go out and buy Kourtney Kardashian’s exact one from Attico, which clocks in at over $1,000. But, it would be totally worth purchasing this similar top from Dolls Kill that costs less than a bar tab.
Feather Tube Top Trim Black, $38
5. Underwire Bra Crop Tank
So this brand Orseund Iris has been taking over my Instagram feed with their signature outer underwire bra tops, and basically, I’m obsessed. Unfortunately, their signature tube tank costs a whopping $195. And like, it’s really cute, but for another $100 I could get that rusty used Chanel chain belt from The Real Real, you know? At least the belt I would potentially rewear. This crop top, on the other hand, is the kind of piece you wear once for the ‘gram. So, simply put, it’s just not worth it. But what is worth it is this similar style bodysuit from Princess Polly, which is currently on sale for just $18. For under $20, you can sacrifice a vodka soda or two to make the purchase if you simply must achieve this lewk.
I’ve always had a love for the finer things in life. Unfortunately, my current financial situation doesn’t allow me to go around dressing in head-to-toe designer threads. So, instead, I prefer to buy timeless designer accessories and then buy trendy fast fashion clothes. If you’re like me, these similar dupes are great alternatives for the trendy designer ones. And, if you’re not like me and can actually afford all the original designer versions, then the least you could do is also buy me one of each while you’re buying your own.

Jewelry trends tend to come and go, so it can be tough to decide what you want to actually invest in when it comes to a good quality piece of jewelry. That’s why we spoke to celebrity jeweler, George the Jeweler, just in time for summer, to tell us what trends he loves, what he hates, and what’s on the horizon. If you’re not familiar with George by name, you’ve definitely seen his work. Remember Khloé Kardashian’s iconic 14k gold True nameplate necklace? Yeah, that was created by George the Jeweler. The Detroit-based jeweler has designed for the likes of Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, Ashley Graham, and has a line with Christina Milian. And, as the largest gold wholesaler in Detroit, he definitely knows his sh*t. Is rose gold over? Are chokers too basic to wear anymore? And is he designing anything for Psalm West? Read on for the answers to these questions and many more.
On How He Got Started
It’s a family business, my dad brought it over from the middle east forever ago, thirty, forty years ago, and me, my sister, and my brother-in-law, we all kind of work together. We’re the largest wholesalers in Michigan, so that’s why I was able to start with it and do what I do.
On How He Made The Leap To Designing For Celebrities
So it started with my friend Symon. She is a radio host and a singer, and I started designing for her, and then I started working with Aaron Carter, working with Christina who’s now one of my best friends. When one door opens, a lot open—that kind of situation.
On His Line With Christina Milian
Christina and I connected maybe like, 4 years ago, 5 years ago? And we just immediately hit it off. Like, I started making her stuff, and then we started talking all the time, and like, we’re best friends now. And she’s really creative, so we just started designing things.
We’re going to get into some men’s stuff. We’re also looking for new trends, both of us are fortunate to be in a position where people kind of look up to as a trendsetter. Whatever we go with pretty much works out, so we’re constantly designing. I mean, there’s so much to do in the future, we’re both so excited.

On His Predictions For Spring And Summer Trends
I’m getting the sense of bigger, bolder pieces for this summer. Maybe because we were doing all the layering, which I think is a trend that’s gonna stick, I think people love the layering look, it’s been around for a while. But I’m also starting to see, like, the other day Kim Kardashian was wearing a giant huge gold chain. And I think I’m starting to see move towards a little bit bigger and bolder.
I do love working with diamonds… and I think that’s fun because sometimes the gold craze is out, and sometimes it’s up. Right now I feel rose gold and gold are really at the top of their game, and white gold is kinda just for your wedding ring.
On Whether Rose Gold Is Overdone
I love rose gold. I’m like, particular about my rose gold, I think it’s pink, delicate. I think it became mainstream when apple released the rose gold iPhone. And all of a sudden rose gold became mainstream.
On Jewelry Trends That Are On The Way Out
I don’t know, gemstones just feel like, old school and like, I don’t know how long gemstones and all the stuff is gonna last. Just from a jeweler’s perspective, I know everybody loves the colors and all that… I don’t know, I’m curious myself.
On Chokers
I love the choker, I think that it’s a great piece. You can dress it up, you can dress it down, I think chokers are here to stay.
On The ‘True’ Necklace He Made For Khloé Kardashian
So, that happened… oh my gosh, I’ve made so much for Khloe. That happened when she had the baby and the name first leaked. I remember I was talking to her assistant and I was like oh, I want to design something for Khloe, something special, this Old English nameplate thing is trending, I’m going to make it really beautiful, so one thing led to another, I sent her a picture, and she was like oh my god, I die for it.
A good story about Khloé, was when Gabbana died (her dog), assistant reached out to me and she was like, “Gabbana passed, so I want to do something really cool, like Khloé wants to get something cool for Kendall, so can we do something with the paw print, because the vet gave us the paw print?” And I was like, “you know what? Let’s take that and let’s literally imprint it on a gold medallion.” And as soon as I got that to her it was all over the press, like PEOPLE magazine wrote about it, and that was a crazy story. Her and her sisters are so sweet.
On Whether He’ll Do Anything For Psalm West
I would love to. So I made Kim some stuff… Kanye West has some jewelry things going on. But I would obviously love to make Kim. I made Kris, Kourtney, Kendall, Khloé, so that was cool.
On What Pieces Everyone Should Have
I think there are certain jewelry pieces that are classic and timeless, that every woman should have. I do think that there are pieces everyone should have, diamond tennis bracelet being one of them.
On What Else He Has In The Pipeline
Christina and I are working on a reality show… we’re in the pitching phase. We’re finishing that up, the whole concept. It’s gonna be good, it’s gonna be really good. the reality show, my own jewelry line, running my family business, constantly designing, constantly. What else do I have going on? I have too much, I have too much going on. I love it. Absolutely. Honestly, I feel like I love my job, and that’s why I’ve been able to get where I am. I feel like when you love something it shows.

In today’s world, where we’re all glued to our phones (shoutout to iPhone’s latest update for informing me of exactly how many hours per week I’ve wasted), winter becomes a huge bummer. Not only because it’s f*cking cold out, but also because when you’re actually outside in the cold, you can’t even entertain yourself by responding to the group chat. So like, not only am I cold and miserable, but I’m cold, miserable, and f*cking bored. Among other recent inventions that solve millennial’s first world problems, like hangover patches and selfie sticks, there are now texting gloves that work on your touch screens. However, for a while, these gloves were only available in ugly AF styles. But not anymore. You don’t have to wear fugly gloves that will clash with your adorbs puffer coat just so you can scroll through Insta while waiting for the subway. Instead, get one of these cute tech-friendly pairs and scroll on, but in style.
1. Free People Ladies First Velvet Buckle Glove
These gloves have a very regal Lisa Vanderpump vibe that I’m here for, especially in the rose color that they’re also available in. The statement colors of these gloves are chic AF and will look super glam with all your winter coats. Basically, to the mere mortal eye, you’ll look super classy while texting in these. Little do they know that you’re actually texting your besties about how blackout you’re going to get this weekend. Hey, you can’t judge a book by its cover.
2. Urban Outfitters Knit Texting Glove
These gloves are simple, cute, and will pair seamlessly with all your winter jackets. Their textured knit elevates them from those ugly plain texting gloves your Grandma is always trying buy you from Kohl’s. And, at their affordable price, you could totally keep a pair in your purse or fracket (aka frat jacket) and not have to stress if you end up losing them. So like, they’re great for when you’re waiting outside for the bouncer to understand that yes, this is your ID, you just happen to be on your fourth duplicate. I mean, I never claimed to be the most responsible drunk person. Or, for when you’re waiting for that over-confident frat pledge to let you into the party. Then again, if you’re still going to frat parties, you’re probably not also someone who’s shopping for texting gloves. No offense, we’ve all been there.
3. Lululemon Cross Chill Run Gloves
These gloves from Lululemon have a bit more of a sporty vibe than the aforementioned pairs. But, with their cute herringbone print, they’re still an amazingly stylish option. Plus, since they’re from Lulu (and meant for crazy people who like, actually go for runs in the cold) you know they’ll def be able to keep your hands warm. So like, if you really wanted to, you could text while on your run…but like, who wants to do that? No, like, the running part. Not the texting part.
Our world has come a long way (relative) and so have our texting gloves. Sorry Grams, you can keep that fugly pair from Kohl’s, or like give it to one of my less stylish cousins or something. I’ve got better options.

Most of us aren’t rolling in cash, but if you are, congrats. Also, not totally sure why you’re reading an article about leather jackets under $100 but hey, appreciate the read. For the rest of us, there’s tons of articles out there about the 500 things we need for fall (#realtalk probs half of those are written by me, lol). But, in all reality, if there’s one thing you actually DO need for fall, it’s a leather jacket. Faux leather of course, don’t go calling PETA on me, please. A faux leather jacket makes every outfit instantly cooler, plus it offers that perfect extra layer of warmth for all your fall festivities (i.e. pumpkin picking, hayrides, blacking out on ciders). Obvi I recognize not all of us have the funds to go blow bills on designer leather jackets, sooo I’ve found several options for you that look just as stylish but are a lot less pricey. Here are five styles of leather jackets under $100.
1. Traditional
For those less fashion savvy, you’ll want to get yourself a traditional, classic black leather jacket. Like I said before, it will pair well with all your outfits and make you look supes chic and stylish. Keep the look classic with some dark denim or ripped boyfriend jeans. Or, make it weird and go leather-on-leather by pairing it with some aggressive leather pants. Really, the choice is yours.
BLANKNYC Faux Leather Jacket ($98)
2. Moto/Biker
The key to wearing a biker style leather jacket is to not look like a hardo Harley Davidson fanatic. You want to look chic and stylish, not like a Riverdale Southside Serpent. (Although, it does seem to be the cool thing to be in Riverdale these days.) Anyway, pick one with some quilting, hardware, or extra buckles for an edgier twist on a traditional leather jacket.
Topshop Leather Look Biker Jacket ($95)
Zara Leather Look Biker Jacket ($69.90)
3. Cropped
A cropped leather jacket looks super cute with a mini dress or fall floral maxi. It adds season appropriateness to your mini dress and an element of edginess to your otherwise super girly floral maxi. Basically, it’s a great option to add variety to your fall looks and more wearability to your current wardrobe.
UO Faux Leather Cropped Moto Jacket ($99)
4. Work Appropriate
Yes, you can wear a leather jacket to work without Karen in HR thinking you do some weird BDSM sh*t as your side hustle. Pick a structured leather jacket like this one, which works great for spicing up your drab 9-5 ensemble. You can also even wear it on the weekends with a bodysuit and ripped jeans for a casual downtown-cool look. Get you a leather jacket that can do both!
Emory Park Tailored Jacket in Faux Leather ($72)
5. Statement
A statement leather jacket, like this red one from Zara, radiates confidence and makes for a great first date jacket. It’s like, not only am I going to look edgy and cool in a leather jacket, but I’mma do you one better and look hot af in a red one. It basically “makes” an otherwise boring outfit, and is sooo much less basic than a standard black one.

You’ve never truly experienced hardship until you’ve dealt with the disappointing reality of losing a pair of designer sunglasses. Fun fact about me: I’ve officially lost three pairs of Ray-Bans, and yes, my wallet does cry at the thought of how much money I’ve consequently wasted. Predictably, I lost all three pairs during day drinking festivities. *Sigh*. That being said, I’ve found the best pairs of sunglasses that won’t break the bank and you won’t feel guilty about losing.
