Bad Vibes

Bad Vibes from Betches Media is a podcast for a new generation. Hosts Talia Lichtstein and Alexis Barber are here to tell it like it is and talk some sh*t. If you can’t get enough of social media but you’re sick of everyone on it, this podcast is 100% for you. They’re coming for everything you love (and everything you love to hate). No one on the internet is safe. Feel free to listen, or just hate listen. We don’t really care which.

Our Hosts

Talia Lichtstein

Talia is a Manhattan-based internet personality hailing from Los Angeles, CA. After graduating from UC Berkeley in 2021, she became known on TikTok as the antidote for “toxic positivity,” having first gone viral for bluntly and unapologetically sharing only her most negative opinions.

Alexis Barber

Alexis Barber is a full-time Content Strategist and part-time Content Creator based in Brooklyn, NY. After graduating from Northwestern University in 2020, she moved to New York to pursue her big tech career. When she isn't working, devouring pop culture news, or styling outfits, she can be found redecorating her apartment and micromanaging her schedule.

Where to Start

No More Bad Vibes

Today’s episode starts with the end. Yup, some v sad news—this is the final episode of Bad Vibes. Talia and Alexis cover all your q’s and explain why it’s time to say farewell (don’t worry, they’re still best friends IRL), before giving their weekly life update, one last time. Then a listener voicemail about pushing away the need for external validation. We’ve all felt insecure, and Talia and Alexis share their personal experiences on that ~self love journey~. Lastly, some final rounds of Roast It or Toast It: Elon Musk bought Twitter (literally why) and Bad Vibes itself (they rate their podcast experience). What can you expect from the end? Some tears and a lot of ily’s.

Talia and Alexis cover all your q’s and explain why it’s time to say farewell (don’t worry, they’re still best friends IRL), before giving their weekly life update, one last time. But they’re not about leave without talking some sh*t and naming some names—AKA what they do best. First up, they address all the Tinx drama. Tune in for the backstory, the debrief, and of course, the hot takes. Over Coachella, Revolve’s Sh*tshow Festival, & Leave Rihanna Alone

Tuning in live from sunny Los Angeles, Talia and Alexis start this week’s ep with a debrief of life on the west coast. Is LA really a shitty heaven and NYC a fun hell? They weigh the pros and cons. Then onto the Vibe Check: Coachella. Talia tapped out of the famed festival this year, but Alexis was there for the full experience—and hated it. Alexis shares what it’s actually like being there (yes, she gives all the deets about Revolve Fest, AKA the new Fyre Festival), and she and Talia get into how Coachella’s become pretty cheugy. Then onto a voicemail about not liking your brother’s GF—don’t worry, Talia and Alexis help problem-solve. They wrap up with a Roast It or Toast It about the *totally fake* Rihanna and A$AP cheating rumor. Can’t pregnant celebs just get a break?
