Kanye West finally got his period yesterday, and started feeling a lot of feelings. He started with apology tweets to Beck and Bruno Mars. He even asked Bruno Mars to sing the hook on a song he's producing, which is kind of like when you apologize to some girl just so you can ask her to take your group pic. Then he cried during an interview, which tbh the Universe didn't think was possible. Maybe Kim K taught him how to ugly cry, so he wanted to try it out.
He was talking about his dead fashion professor, and the tears started flowing. This professor was his mentor and he recounted advice she gave him: “She said, 'So many students, they don't give it their all. As soon as they do something good at 2 years old, 3 years old, their parents clap. Kanye, don't clap.'” That sounds like both a personal mantra – wins a Grammy, Kanye don't clap – and a parenting philosophy – North walks for the first time, Kanye don't clap. Besides the fact that we need to start a kickstarter to emancipate North West from Kim and Kanye, this is a phenomenal new phrase. #DontPanic #DontClap
