Tangled is the story of Rapunzel, a girl with raging mommy issues who took the long-hair trend way too seriously. Sure, she was kidnapped by a witch and hid in a tower for 16 years, but that's pretty much how I would describe all-girls school too. In the movie Tangled, Rapunzel meets Flynn Rider, the bad boy with a good heart (read: Tim Riggins), and they try to find her real parents. Well turns out that Rapunzel is actually the long lost princess. At the end of the movie, Rapunzel is reunited with her parents and she and Flynn (real name is Eugene but whatevs) decide to try ~ dating.
Anyways, Disney has decided to make an animated TV show about how Rapunzel adjusted to being princess and moving in with her parents, which is remarkably similiar to graduating from college, moving home, and “volunteering” a lot. It's kind of like the Princess Diaries 2 movie, except marketed towards 8 year old girls. The entire voice cast will stay in their movie roles (so Mandy Moore can be employed), and Disney actually tried to hire talented people to write the script and original music, so this could be good. Tbh, this should affect your life in absolutely no way, unless you watch a lot of Disney Channel…But if you're going to abandon the OG Disney Princesses for the newbies, it should be Frozen.
