Ah, s’mores: a childhood fav. Taking two sugary, cinnamon-dusted graham crackers and topping them with melted chocolate and a toasty marshmallow made us yearn for summer back in the days where we could have given two shits about our diets.
Today, however, such treats must be limited, because our waistlines like, aren’t getting any smaller. If we are planning on indulging, though, we have to make it super worth it. Enter our good friend alcohol.
By combining the bonfire treat of our youth with the everywhere and anytime treat from our adulthood, we can easily bypass the questioning mentality we usually associate with literally everything we put in our mouths. Hello, S’mores Cocktail.
- 2 tbsps Hershey’s chocolate syrup OR straight up melted chocolate if you’re fancy
- 3-4 cinnamon graham crackers, crumbled
- ¼ cup chocolate milk
- 1 oz. marshmallow flavored vodka – Smirnoff makes a “Fluffed Marshmallow” vodka … yes, really
- 1 oz. crème de cocoa
- 1 oz. Rum Chata
- 1-2 giant marshmallows, toasted
Grab two small plates. On one, pour out the graham cracker pieces. Pour the Hershey’s syrup on the other. Dip your martini glass rim on to the Hershey’s plate, then, dip into the crushed graham crackers.
In a cocktail shaker, mix together the chocolate milk, marshmallow vodka, crème de cocoa and Rum Chata. Pour into the prepared chocolately glass. Skewer a toasted marshmallow and serve. No fire required.
Want to make this a bigger drink? Double the recipe but like, we added more vodka and Rum Chata. Sorry not sorry.
