Everyone is jizzing their pants over wine slushies these days. But rosé seems to get all the attention, which is like, sad sometimes. We say let all wine have a chance (#AllWinesMatter) and branch out in your culinary quest for an alcoholic and slightly melted popsicle this summer.
We found this recipe on Cooking Light and adapted it to be like, better. We’re tired of berries, so we used mango to go with that sweet, sweet Riesling. Of course, feel free to use other shit too—I’m sure orange and pineapple would be great, as would papaya and blood orange. The world is your kitchen.
- 3 cups fresh mango—either buy it pre-chopped or get like 4-5 ripe mangos and get three cups of fruit from them
- 2 cups sweet Riesling—dry will not work in this recipe
- 1 cup ice cubes
- Splash of lemon juice, to cut all that sweet shit
Place all your ingredients in a blender. Really. That’s it. You’re done. Go drinking.
