Betches love #179 expensive workout clothes, whether we’re spending hundreds of dollars on a hot personal trainer or thirty bucks for a Vinyasa yoga class if we need to find our zen when our dealer’s out of town.
This week, Lululemon opened its largest-ever retail store on Fifth Avenue in NYC’s Flatiron District. Neighbors with Athleta, Sweaty Betty, Soul Cycle, and Juice Generation, this location is located in the trendiest part of the city, and the store is bigger and better than ever before.
The Lululemon flagship location will surprise even the most intense fitness betch. The store is 11,500 square feet, and aside from their huge retail selection and fitness studio, the space has a lower level community retreat space called “HUB Seventeen,” lined with chic furniture, floating swings, a coat check, phone-charging station, and a refreshment bar. Like, yeah we came in for a new yoga mat but we’re happy to pick up an overpriced espresso to hold while we browse.
The store also has a “fitness concierge service” which literally books nearby fitness classes for you and gets you reservations at the city’s healthiest restaurants. The concierge service has a huge digital screen to browse through studios, which turns into a mirror when not being used. Now you can book a front row bike and order your Naruto roll without the stress of doing anything yourself.
Lululemon is the company that made sweat trendy and taught us the difference between spandex and luon. So, NYC betches, come check out the best thing that’s ever happened to athleisure. Oh and if you can’t make it downtown, don’t worry—the new store also has a complimentary messenger service, so you can get your cutout leggings wherever and whenever.
