Fashion is truly cyclical. However, some comebacks are good, like leggings, and others are not, like culottes. Luckily, the latest fashion flashback is something we definitely like. Logos.
It’s official, logos are back. Logomania has been on pause the last couple of years, so I don’t know about you, but I feel like a celebration is in order. I know having too many brand names in your face can be a bit déclassé, but if Lavin is doing it, it’s ok with me.
All the spring 2016 shows were filled with logos and brand names literally being written on the clothes. Moschino, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Lavin, all splattered a million logos on everything. What better way to announce to the world that you are someone who shops on Rue Cambon and not at Wal-Mart? We’re not peasants after all.
