Over the weekend, Kourtney Kardashian Instagrammed a photo of herself wearing a crop top and denim cut-offs, leaning against a wall, holding what is probably a designer purse.
Update: My instincts were correct—Kourtney’s bag is, in fact, designer. Not only that, it is the Givenchy Antigona satchel, which costs a mere $2,435. This will be important in just a moment.
She captioned this piece of artwork with none other than an Ernest Hemingway quote. Kourtney Kardashian IS every girl from your sorority pledge class. Ugh. Celebs, they’re just
like as basic as us!
The caption was—wait for it: “You are so brave and quiet I forget you are suffering.” Ernest Hemingway
Has Kourtney ever read A Farewell to Arms? Truly doubt it. Does she even know who Ernest Hemingway is? Unclear.
I can understand if you don’t believe me, but this is literally real.
Kourtney is really suffering, you guys. I think she deserves all our thoughts and prayers in this trying time. I mean, do you see the tile on that floor? Gross. It’s like, totally dirty. Somebody really needs to brighten up that caulk. And that wall? I mean, you just know that paint is chipping somewhere. And like, she’s basically wearing no clothing so you’ve got to assume it’s hot out wherever she took this photo—yuck. Sweat is never any fun. Plus, she only got a measly 821,000 likes on this photo. Like, at that point, why even bother uploading it at all? Wowzers.
Yeah, this photo is basically the visual depiction of suffering. Somebody call up Merriam Webster and tell them we’ve got a new addition for the dictionary.
Well, you know what, Kourt? I see you. I hear your cry for help. I’m here for you. Just let me know what I can do. You’ll get through this, I promise.
