JoJo Siwa officially has a new girlfriend (again), and yes, they’ve already been a Disney date, duh. It does feel like Madison Rouge Alvarado was JoJo’s new girlfriend, like, yesterday, but alas, the Dance Moms icon has apparently moved on to another So You Think You Can Dance star, Dakayla Wilson. We can only hope this romance provides inspo for JoJo’s next groundbreaking musical project… I’m personally craving another “Karma”-style dance and unhinged music video. JoJo and Dakayla went Insta official back in August, and to no one’s surprise, JoJo is already thinking about their future children.
“She is on board,” JoJo confirmed to Us Weekly. “I always bring up the Freddie, Eddie and Teddie conversation right away in a relationship.” Naturally! (For those who aren’t JoJo stans, those are the names she wants for her kids.) Mind you, Dakayla is literally still a teenager. Who Is JoJo Siwa’s New Girlfriend, Dakayla Wilson?
Dakayla, a Massachusetts native, finished second in season 18 of So You Think You Can Dance. JoJo was one of the judges at the time, so that’s where sparks first flew, I suppose. Following her SYTYCD experience, Dakayla’s excited to explore more TV opportunities. “What’s next is to move to L.A. and honestly start getting into the film and camera work world and do commercials and what not because I think I got this snippet of being on TV and I loved it and I would totally do it again,” she told Western Mass News last May.
JoJo and Dakayla hard-launched their relationship on August 14 with an Instagram Story. The “Karma” singer shared a video of herself and Dakayla at a studio dance class, and Dakayla announces in the clip, “So, I have a girlfriend.” The rest of the class cheered as the JoJo and Dakayla hugged. “Cats outta the bag 😺,” JoJo captioned the video. Dakayla reposted it, writing, “surprise shawtyyyyy 😽.” On September 14, Dakayla joined JoJo at the premiere of Demi Lovato’s new documentary, Child Star.
