Brand Uses “Rape Us Now” In Black Friday Ad

As we have all learned from the Facebook friends we hate, Black Friday causes people to brawl inside Wal-Marts all over the country and all other sorts of horrible-ness—all for $100 TVs. Like come on people, is this really worth it? Isn’t this why we have Amazon Prime?

But apparently, we aren’t safe on the Internet either. Some clothing brand from Singapore thought it would be a good idea to use the phrase “rape us now” as the shopping button text on their front page, announcing the sale. Like can they not? Like for real?

But first of all, how douchey is it that the company director straight up blamed it on the graphic designer? He literally said, “As the director of the company, I have failed to review my Graphic Designer’s work before approving the image to be displayed on our site.” And second of all, we all know this was some dumbass marketing ploy to get press, which is working, but look “SuperGurl” don’t think you have fooled any of us for one second, we know.
