Shit hit the fan on Tuesday night when Rob Kardashian went off the deep end and started going off on his baby mama, Blac Chyna. There were videos of her in bed with other dudes. There were screenshots of convos with said other dudes. There were a lot of barely coherent rants from the Notes app. But most of all, there were nudes. His Instagram is now deleted but just trust me when I say Rob posted Chyna’s nudes on Instagram, and it was not cool. Not only was it not cool in my opinion, but it was also not cool in the eyes of the law: Revenge porn is a crime in the state of California, and Rob might actually go to jail. And I’m not just talking out of my ass (for once), because Blac Chyna is looking into taking legal action against Rob, so strap in because this could (and probably will) get messy.
Blac Chyna’s attorney, Walter Mosley, said in a statement to PEOPLE, “I am exploring all legal remedies and protections available to my client at this time in attempts to best advise her on how she may want to proceed.” Translation: It’s being handled. Honestly, good for Chyna. I don’t care how much of a ho someone is—nobody deserves to have their naked body publicly exposed to millions of people without their consent. As Gucci Mane once said, “Exposing hoes is a form of snitching. She trust you & gave you some pussy & you told. You the hoe.” Gucci Mane, the Oscar Wilde of our generation.
PEOPLE asked a legal expert (because asking my friend in law school just wouldn’t pack the same punch) and their expert basically said that this is a classic case of revenge porn, which has been a crime under the California Penal Code since 2013. If Chyna presses charges, and if Rob is convicted, he could face up to six months in jail and a fine. Let’s be real, there’s no fine in the world that would actually be punitive to the Kardashians, but it’s fun to pretend that Rob might actually face the consequences of his actions.
I have a feeling that Chyna isn’t going to do shit and in like, two weeks’ time these two will be back together to promote the new season of their reality show, which will incidentally just happen to premiere the day after they announce their reunion. IDK, just a theory.
