Beyoncé’s New Album Is Literally All About Jay Z Cheating On Her

In case you took too much Xanax to use the internet this weekend, Beyoncé finally released her long-awaited new album on Saturday night. It’s called Lemonade, and there’s an accompanying hour-long film that was shown on HBO at the same time the album dropped. The album is great, like we knew it would be, but the subject matter was a little surprising. If you haven’t given it a listen yet, be prepared for your ideas about love to be shattered.

Most of the songs are directly about Jay Z cheating on Bey. There have been rumors flying around for a while now, but there was never any confirmation until now, and Bey sounds fucking angry, as she should. Like, really Jay? You’re married to one of THE most beautiful/sexy/talented women on the planet, and you’re still not happy? If any more proof was needed that men are scumbags, Beyoncé just gave it to us in the form of an entire gut-wrenching album and accompanying music videos.

Here are some of the best cheating-related lyrics, now let’s go torch Jay Z’s car.

“How did it come down to this? Scrolling through your call list / I don’t want to lose my pride but imma fuck me up a bitch” – Hold Up

“This is your final warning: if you try this shit again, you gon lose your wife.” – Don’t Hurt Yourself

“He only want me when I’m not there; he better call Becky with the good hair.” – Sorry

We know what you’re thinking, and you’re right: If Beyoncé got cheated on, God help the rest of us.
