Fall is a very special time in every betch’s life. Summer — merely a blur of cool trips that yielded a whole winter’s worth of #TBT of you looking great in a bikini — is over. It’s time to embark on a new school year, a new job, or even a new bro in time for #cuffingseason. Another pivotal aspect of fall is finding the perfect fall boot that says, no I don’t drink pumpkin spice lattes and yes, I attended NYFW in September. Ah, the fall, what a time to be alive. We’ve broken down our top boot pics for this fall season ranging from the perfect ankle boot to the latest midi. Whether you are all about the ankle bootie or you think Pretty Woman’s boots are perfect for visiting your grandma, we’ve got you covered.
The Ankle Boot
Ankle boots are great because you can wear them during ~work hours~ and be the chicest person at your office. Or you can wear them out and look less chic but more ~down to earth and approachable~. As seen on Dior’s runways, the midi is a huge trend. Midis go to mid calf and since they don’t taper to your leg, they make you look super skinny. We can’t say we’re huge fans, though, because — I’ll say it again — bringing attention to your knees is NOT fashion. (RIP mullet dress) You can try these classic looks in black and also black and they will def go with everything!
Low Boot High Heel
These are also excellent work options especially if you work somewhere chic (read: PR or at an art gallery and live off your parents’ money like any real millenial). These will also look good with tights and dresses or tucked under boots. The high heeled boots are not super functional for winter, but because you can’t really walk you will totally look chic as you ask, “Are you my Uber?” In the middle of a leaf or snow-covered street. That a guaranteed triple-digit Instagram like right there, you’re welcome.
High Boot Low Heel
Obsessed with these. First, they make your leg look skinner (Important!). Secondly, they literally go with everything! The Stuart Weitzman boots have been the number one boot in Ameirca since my mom wore them when she was young, which must have been like 1324509832475 years ago, or something, and I don’t see this trend slowing down anytime soon.
High Boot High Heel
For the Khloe K and Kylie in all of us. If you’re looking to “switch up your fall look” (Read: You recently got “temporary” lip injections), then these are perfect. Beware of old men in cars who might pull up and ask if you are looking for a “good time?” But just smile and giggle and say, “Oh, Dad.”
I personally think Stuart Weitzman has the best boots ever, so you can’t go wrong with any of these recommendations. #Facts.
